1. Only lures CURRENTLY manufactured by Big Bite Baits, Bill Lewis Lures, Yamamoto Baits, Buckeye Lures or Steel Shad may be used. Changing of hooks is permitted.  Modifying internal weight of a lure is not allowed.  Adding or attaching soft plastic baits to your lure (lure must be manufactured by Big Bite Baits, Bill Lewis, Steel Shad, Yamamoto or Buckeye) is permitted, but the soft plastic must be currently manufactured by Big Bite Baits or Yamamoto Baits.  If your modification is in question, contact the tournament director prior to the tournament.
  2. Umbrella rigs are allowed, but must have Buckeye Lures or Big Bite Baits jig heads and Big Bite Baits or Yamamoto Baits plastics.
  3. Only lures currently manufactured by Big Bite Baits, Bill Lewis Lures, Yamamoto Baits, Buckeye Lures or Steel Shad may be used during the tournament but other brand tackle does NOT have to be removed from boat.
  4. All State, Coast Guard, Federal Parks & Wildlife regulations shall apply at all times.
  5. Each person in boat must be a paid contestant of the tournament or a tournament official.
  6. Participation is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and have a signed minor's release on file. Adult must also must a paid contestant of the tournament.
  7. Participation & Eligibility:  Participation is open to anyone 18 years or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult contestant and have a completed and signed Minor’s Release.  (See the Form Section on Outlaw Outdoors’ website for Minor’s Release) The following are NOT eligible to enter:
        • Any angler that has committed to compete in 2024 in a B.A.S.S. Elite Series Event, an MLF Invitational Tournament, MLF Redcrest Series or Bass Pro Tour Event
        • Any angler that has guided for largemouth bass on Tournament Waters in the preceding 14 days of Tournament for any method of compensation
        • Any angler the Tournament Director should decide to refuse entry
  8. Any person who has been disqualified from any prior tournament may be subject to being refused entry into tournament.
  9. Tournament director may refuse any entry.
  10. Entry form (online or handwritten) with complete entry fee must be received before tournament hours begin.
  11. All bass weighed in will become the property of the tournament director and will be released back into the tournament waters.
  12. Refunds: No refund of entry fees will be allowed nor will entry fees be transferred to a future tournament.
  13. Alcoholic Beverages: No alcoholic beverages are to be consumed by any contestant during tournament hour; nor are alcoholic beverages allowed in a contestant’s boat during official tournament hours. Violation of any of the above will result in disqualification.
  14. PFD & Kill Switch: All boats must be equipped with emergency kill switch. Kill switch must be attached at all times while combustible engine is in operation. Kill switch must operate properly. US Coast Guard approved life jackets are required for each person in boat. Life jackets must be worn and fastened while combustible engine is in operation.
  15. Trailering: Trailering is allowed. Contestants may leave from any launch site. No fishing until Official Start Time. Official Start & Official Stop times will be determined based on cell phone service.
  16. Check In: If you are pre-entered, no check in the morning of the tournament is required.
  17. Method of Fishing: All bass must be caught on artificial bait by casting in the waters of Toledo Bend. No trolling with main outboard motor. Contestant may use only one rod at any one time.
  18. Fish must be alive to be eligible for weigh in.
  19. Minimum Length: Minimum length of bass to be weighed in is fourteen (14) inches. Official measuring board is the CHECK-IT-STIK. Only Largemouth and Kentucky Spotted Bass will be weighed in.
  20. Polygraph Exam: Each contestant, by signing the entry form, agrees to submit to a polygraph test and agrees to accept the results. Should a contestant fail to pass a polygraph test, contestant will be disqualified. No alcohol or mind-altering drugs may be consumed prior to a contestant's polygraph exam.
  21. Protests: Any protest must be submitted to the tournament director in writing within 15 minutes of the completion of tournament weigh in.
  22. Bank fishing is allowed.
  23. Bass must be weighed in by the contestant who caught the bass.
  24. Opening Of The Scales:  Scales will open 15 minutes after the top of each our and remain open until the top of each hour. Example - Scales open at 7:15 and close at 8:00.  Scales open at 8:15 and close at 9:00.
  25. Outlaw Outdoors reserves the right to place an official observer in a contestant's boat at any time during competition hours, and/or have an observation boat follow a contestant any time during competition hours.
  26. Off Limits: There is no off-limits period.
  27. All decisions of the tournament director are final.
